Sylvina Buckley

Hair Station Studio College of Beauty
Sylvina Buckley is a highly respected leader, educator, and innovator in the field of cosmetology, with over 35 years of industry experience and more than two decades in the classroom. As the Owner, Director, and Lead Instructor of Hair Station Studio College of Beauty, she has created a dynamic learning environment focused on excellence, professionalism, and student success.
Sylvina’s passion for beauty education is matched by her dedication to continual growth. She is a licensed cosmetologist and licensed cosmetology instructor who has completed extensive training through national brands such as CHI, Matrix, Wella, and Linders Health. Her ongoing professional development includes advanced workshops with leading educational providers like Milady and Pivot Point.
Throughout her career, Sylvina has made a lasting impact at several institutions across Mississippi. She has served as Director and Lead Instructor at Jones College and taught at other institutions like Academy of Hair Design, Virginia College, and Blue Cliff College. Today, she brings that legacy of excellence to her own institution, Hair Station Studio College of Beauty, where she has trained other instructors and has led this institution since 2022 with pride and purpose.
In addition to her educational leadership, Sylvina is the Vice President of the Mississippi Cosmetology and Barbering Association and a proud member of the Mississippi Cosmetology and Barbering Council, where she helps shape the future of the industry statewide.
Driven by a love for the craft and a genuine commitment to her students' growth, Sylvina continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of beauty professionals. Her vision is clear: to provide high-quality, comprehensive cosmetology education that opens doors and builds lasting careers.
